Whether you're dancing under the stars in Telluride or enjoying symphonies in Boulder, these summer festivals offer the perfect excuse to get out and explore.

Here’s a peek at some of the fantastic festivals going on this summer:

July 19-20

August 8-10

This year, the festival presents a diverse mix of live jazz, funk and soul performances featuring Kamasi Washington, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Cimafunk, BTTRFLY Quintet, BALTHVS, Kokoroko, Parlor Greens and many more.

August 8-10

Set along the banks of North St. Vrain Creek at the Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons, this three-day celebration—lovingly known as the “Summit of the Song”—brings together legendary and emerging songwriters across folk, roots, Americana, and beyond.

August 21-24

Four days of roots, bluegrass, and Americana, set against stunning mountain and lakeside backdrops. Bring your picnic blankets or low-back chairs, enjoy local food trucks, craft beverages, camping, workshops, and spontaneous jam circles—plus it’s dog-friendly and family-oriented. With panoramic views of Prospect Mountain and Lake Estes, it’s back-to-basics, feel-good festival fun in the great outdoors.

August 29-31

This three-day outdoor festival, set against the majestic Elk Mountain Range, delivers an electrifying mix of jazz, rock, funk, blues, soul, and R&B, bringing together global superstars and emerging artists in a scenic alpine setting.

September 12-14

The multi-stage celebration of music and craft beer features an eclectic mix of live blues, funk, indie, rock, jam-band, gospel, and soul performances, accompanied by some of the country's finest craft breweries. The Festival also features kids' activities, cozy late-night club shows, free morning yoga sessions, local and regional food and craft vendors, and so much more.
